With over a decade of hands-on experience in IT-Infrastructure and operations, I am a seasoned Linux System Engineer specializing in both on-premise and cloud-based environments. My career has been defined by a strong commitment to reliability, scalability & automation, enabling organizations to build & manage complex resilient and efficient system environments across diverse infrastructures.
My experience spans traditional data centers as well as modern cloud platforms incl. Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, where I have designed, deployed and maintained highly available and secure systems.
Automation is the core of my approach, where I have extensive experience using tools like Ansible to streamline configuration management, enforce consistency and reduce operational overhead.
Paired with Ansible, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform/OpenTofu, build the foundation of a transparent, reproducible and robust infrastructure, whilst integrating continuous delivery pipelines enable faster and more reliable platform & application deployments and implement DevOps best practices.
Apart from traditional server configuration & lifecycle management, I am also highly proficient in containerization technologies including docker & podman, container orchestration platform e.g. Azure AKS, GKE and locally installed kind clusters (Kubernetes in Docker/Podman). This has allowed me to support microservices architectures and modern application deployment strategies at scale.
Furthermore, I have gained strong experience in virtualization technologies including VMWare and KVM based virtualization, enabling optimized resource utilization and flexible infrastructure design.
My technical skill set also includes Bash scripting and programming in Go, which I use to develop efficient tools and automation solutions tailored to infrastructure and operational needs.
Overall, I combine deep technical knowledge with a practical, automation-first mindset to deliver robust, scalable and future-ready IT solutions.
